PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: Business Development Account Director

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time

LOCATION: Novara, Italy

POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Development Coordinator will be a dynamic individual who supports members of the team in multiple tasks surrounding the development of luxury packaging: daily follow up and communication to ensure packaging development progress, organization of samples, shipments, travel management, and customer meeting preparation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Product Development Specialists with administrative tasks for all assigned customer projects and programs from project conception through sampling and product cost validation
  • Organize and document all packaging sample information, which includes photographing samples; recording specifications; labeling; and maintenance of master sample files
  • Prepare FedEx and courier shipments to send samples to local and international customers and suppliers; distribute tracking information to appropriate contacts and monitor shipments
  • Support Product Development Specialists and manager with daily communication with suppliers and internal teams as needed, including requests for quotes and samples
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including domestic and international flights, hotel accommodations, and offsite meeting locations
  • Support team leaders as needed (e.g. customer meeting preparation/developing PowerPoint presentations)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Demonstrate ability to complete all tasks with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up
  • Ensure professional, accurate, and timely communication with internal and external constituents to complete assignments and resolve issues
  • Analyze and problem-solve efficiently; work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes to priorities
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all tasks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills from country of hire and country of client required. Advanced verbal and written English is required; additional language abilities a plus.
  • Prior experience in an administrative support role requiring coordination of schedules, project details, and status updates for various projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Sincere interest in packaging development and an eagerness to learn and grow within our organization
