Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Headquarters HR management in supporting HR processes for employees located in The Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as daily point of contact for European employees; liaison with HQ HR on personnel matters.
- Provide HR management support for local managers on employee relations and engagement matters; work with HQ HR on local management and employee development programs.
- Coordinate with recruitment staff and hiring managers to place qualified candidates for open positions based in Europe.
- Draft labor contracts; monitor renewal deadlines; draft renewal/expiration notices; and coordinate with managers to ensure a timely renewal process for compliance purposes.
- Conduct new hire orientation, onboarding and termination processes; enroll employees in payroll and insurance programs; maintain updates and changes to such information, including personnel and confidential employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Assist in maintaining compliance with local and national labor laws.
- Manage paid leave and special leave processes.
- Assist in special projects for the department, including policy updates; safety efforts; and implementation of HQ initiatives in local offices.
- Assist with management of facilities for European office locations and oversee leases renewals, vendor and maintenance management.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed in the European zone.

- Ensure professional, timely, and constructive interactions with HR, managers and employees to support advancement of The Netherlands team and resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
- University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or 5+ years of HR experience.
- Fluency in English.
- 3-5 years of experience performing HR duties is required.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all tasks; experience managing confidential information is required.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS is desired.
- Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audience.
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop rapport, trust, and positive working relationships with all employees.
