3PL Operations Coordinator

Position Summary:

The 3PL Operations Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination of 3PL-related warehouse activity, including acting as the primary liaison with 3PL support staff, executing system adjustments related to inbound and outbound activity, administering inventory management, reporting on 3PL provider performance metrics, and coordinating 3PL invoicing administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact for 3PL warehouse staff related to inbound and outbound inventory and system-related inquiries and needs
  • Serve as liaison between internal partners and 3PL warehouse staff and business contacts
  • Coordinate and manage execution of special warehouse-related projects and customer-specific project needs
  • Support the development and implementation of performance metrics
  • Assist in developing and enforcing 3PL pricing structures, including storage, pick, and special project fees
  • Administer and audit 3PL provider invoices and work with accounting to support associated customer invoicing
  • Interact with members of the account team, logistics, warehousing staff, and carriers to execute outbound order shipments
  • Ensure 3PL provider is managing the flow of activity in alignment with business priorities and urgent needs
  • Conduct analysis and reviews to measure, manage, and improve pricing structures and warehousing size and footprint needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years’ experience in international supply chain and third-party provider management
  • Experience in setting and managing budgets and provider financials preferred
  • Must be analytical-minded and an excellent problem-solver
  • Excellent oral, written, customer service and organizational skills
  • Able to function in a deadline-driven environment with ability to appropriately prioritize shifting workload
  • Detail-oriented and excellent follow-through skills
  • Advanced user of MS Excel; MS Power-Point, Visio and MS Access experience is helpful
